COVID-19 update

IMPORTANT MESSAGE, March 16th 2020:

Due to the recent situation regarding COVID-19, our office doors will be closed as of Tuesday March 17th 2020 until Monday April 6th 2020, unless otherwise noted.

You can still connect with Service Coordination Support, including DSOER, by calling at 613-748-1788 or 1-855-376-3737.

Staff are directed to replace “in-person” meetings with telephone or online communications. If you require information about services or assistance to complete forms (including ASD respite funding forms), please call 613-748-1788 and a staff will be able to support you via telephone.

Additional cancellations:

  • The Transition Awareness Group (TAG) session on March 18th 2020 at SCS with Martha Beach is cancelled.
  • All community presentations are cancelled until further notice.
  • No drop-ins will be accepted by SCS, including DSOER, until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the status of the situation, and will update this message as new information becomes available.

Thank you,
Service Coordination Support for People with Developmental Disabilities

About your DSO agency

DSOER is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, and is administered by Service Coordination for People with Developmental Disabilities (SCS).

We follow our agency’s Mission: SCS supports people with developmental disabilities and children with autism in finding available resources and planning for the future of their choice.

Update your information

It is important to keep your area DSO up to date when there are any changes in your situation. For example, call us if you are planning to move or change your phone number. This helps us to make sure that we have your current contact information and to confirm that you wish to remain on the service registry.
